Not even going to look, Brickie. The last time someone put up one of those links, I thought "I'll just check, no problem"... I had to get my husband to come and switch the computer off. He managed to find a spider running down his legs this morning when he put his pants on, apparently it "tickled his hand" when he was throwing it out the window. ARGHHH!!! Don't think he'll be quite so blase if the same thing happens in Oz.

Ive been here for over 30 years and have never even had one crawl on me never mind bite me.
I can go a find just about any species of spider right now in my yard and shed, but why would I want to?
They do a good job controlling other bugs so I leave them alone, and they leave me alone too?

Hi Hanna, I'm a bit obsessed about the spider as well, but the way i get round it, is by looking at biology:
Spiders are out for survival to feed and to pro-create , therefore, their main ambition just like any other speices is suvival .
Humans just don't taste too good and neither are they any good to mate with! HE, HE!
SO have no fear they don't need us , so they certainly won't be looking for us .
You leave them alone , they'll do the same to you.
I remember i used to be scared of bumble bees , but the same applys , do i look like a flower..no .so why worry?
Hope this makes you feel better
