Hi, I might be going to live in Melbourne with my family soon.
Just want to know what its like there.
Whats the weather like?
Are the people there friendly cos I'm worried about making new friends.
Is there lots to do there?
Please help!

Hi Kristina,

It's awesome here! I'm originally from Yorkshire and moved here 9 years ago - never looked back.

The beach is close, the city is close, the countryside is close. The weather can be cold (like now) - but it's never as cold as the UK. In fact some of the temperatures you've been having in your Summer we have in our Winter!

I find that because the weather is better, and it's a more relaxed lifestyle - in general people are much friendlier than the UK.

Melbourne, I find, is a great balance of things to do. If you want a busy lifestyle you can have it in Melbourne. If you want to relax and take it easy, you can also do that in Melbourne.
