Hello Tom

My son is 8 too and we will be moving to Brisbane at the beginning of November. Whereabouts are you heading for in Brisbane?

My son will need some friends too but dont worry you will make lots of new mates at school i should think. You can join sport clubs too to make friends.

By the way my son is called William.

you must be exited, my daughter is 10 and were planning on moving to brisbane when our visa is passed only just applied so it will be some time yet.
she is also worried about making any friends too. you'll definatly make some friends so dont worry and enjoy it there!!!

I'm sure you'll love Brisbane, my brother lives there and we visited him, there are great things to do there. I'm sure you'll get a few friends on here.

Tom theres loads of POMs in this area of Brisbane so you will probably find at least 1 other person starting school the same time as you so you can be the newbies together. We are going to be in the general area (although not Redcliffe) so when we get up i will get Will to send a message on here and if you still need a mate maybe you could meet up for a game of footy or something.
