In need of friends in Oz

Hello, im zoe 14
i'm moving to oz in 2 weeks and would like to get to know some of you, as we are hopefully going too be based around currambine.
is it really as hot as they make out in there summer time? hope so because my birthday is in december!!
hopefully there are some new friends out there for me as im gunna be on my own, as its another one of my dads mad ideas of moving.

Wow Zoe you're heading out in 2 weeks. I guess you've got alot of mixed emotions right now, sad at leaving your mates and family but excited and scared at starting a new life..... My guess is your mum and dad will be feeling exactly the same as you. We had our first xmas in Oz this year and it was a bit strange doing xmas shopping in summer clothes. It's very hot around xmas time, my daughters birthday is in Feb and she always wanted a summer birthday - she had a pool party this year and is planning to go to a water park next. You'll make friends really quickly once you start at school, make an effort to stay in touch with your old mates too, my daughter has and is still as close to them as she ever was.
