I'm sure some people will be along soon to answer your questions about school in Queensland. It's a great place to go to, my brother lives there. We live in Perth WA. My son Tom is 8 and loves school here much better than the UK. In my opinion it seems a bit more relaxed and Tom seems to have a lot of fun. He does learn though and one of his favourite lessons is science, because they do experiments in class, he said in England you watched the teacher but here you do them yourself.
Tom and his sister Alex have found people to be friendly and made friends pretty quickly. My friends say he does sound Australian now - so you may lose your accent.

Thanks for that, we do have an email and msn sticky on this part of the forum, reminding parents of that and asking our young members not to post their email or msn addresses. I do ask adult members that if they notice things like that they can let me know so I can delete them.
