Hi Kim,

My name is Ellie, I am 13, 14 in december.

We hope to be in aus around december.

I'm not sure about many of your questions, but i think that you have to wear a uniform in most schools, but im not sure. I think that the uniforms are usually shorts or a skirt with a polo shirt and i think most people wear trainers to school.

I will PM you my msn addy.

Love Ellie
xXx

Hi we live in Perth and my daughter is in Year 8 (age 13). You have to wear uniform at school, her school gives a choice of dress, skirt and white blouse or white polo or pants - so alot of choice. My daughter finds the work ok and enjoys the school she's at, she's had alot of tests recently but homework isn't too bad with quantities and alot more assignments and a power point presentation. than anything else. Her school offers 2 languages Japanese and French, she did Japanese for a year but chose French for high school as she enjoyed it more (although she's not keen on her new teacher). Year 8 here is the first year of High School, so she's found that whilst keeping a couple of friends from primary (she did 1 year of primary here - year 7), she had made new friends from the people she is most with in class. If you know what school you'll be going to - ask your parents to contact the principle - perhaps they will be able to get you a pen pas - my daughters primary school did this and she was able to chat on line with new classmates - helped her settle those first few days.

Ali

Hi Kimmi, Kinross College has its own uniform, white polo shirt, navy cargo pants or shorts or navy skirt. Navy sweatshirt and jacket there is also a separate sports teeshirt. You will make lots of friends at this school, most of them have had the same experiences of moving to Oz. I will pm you with my sons MSN,
Susan.
