i recently bought a ps3 over christmas, but i was wondering would australian ps3 games work on a uk ps3?
any help would be appriciated

Playstation3's are not region encoded, so yes you can buy, play games from anywhere in the world. This is the only console that is not region encoded...
FamFive is correct about the games. Australia is in the same BluRay region as the UK, but not the same DVD region, so BluRay video disks bought in Oz will play fine, but not DVDs sadly.
