Hello my name is leah and im a daughter of marie and sean and im moving in 2009 hopefully but there is a few things that i dont no sum questions that i wud like people to answer 4 me

-Is it easy 2 make friends there then in england?
-And are the school much different then England?
-Is the homework hard?
-and is perth nice?

well anyway i hope you will help me with answering these questions and i will get back 2 u all

Ma mum saw this post and asked me to reply for you - i am nikki i am almost 14,
can't tell you about perth soz as we are in NSW - but i have loads of m8's here and it wasnt hard at all to make friends - i think the school work is more easy here in oz and i so far have never had much homework - (going into year 9 next week so that may change)
It is a big change at first but you will soon settle in - i did and im on my own as i left 2 older sisters in the uk.
I still keep in contact with my old m8's & sisters via phone msn bebo etc

Hi,

Perth is lovely but I'm biased. My daughter isn't up yet (school hols), but she's 13 next month. You'll find it easy to make friends, alex has found people to be nice and friendly. She's going to high school this year so can't comment on the homework, didn't get much at primary other than projects etc..

From an adults point of view - school looks more relaxed here and not as regimented as in England, my son is still at primary and they had to line up when the bell rang in england and walk in a line into the classroom, here he just puts his bag on the bench and goes into the classroom.
