What year, personally I wouldn't bother with 6 or 9 far more to gain by experiencing Australia and what it has to offer.

I have 3 lads all have them have done year 6 SATS and one that has done year 9, one who is due to take year 9 SATS this school year, not bothering unless we are still here because we cant sell the house (nightmare).

SATS only help the school with league table positioning in my humble opinion.

Hi
In my humble opinion SATS are of no benefit to the child and are only a way of the government checking out a schools performance. So if you were considering delaying a move to Oz purely on the basis of sitting the SATS then I'd say don't bohter as they are not of use to your child!

I agree with Mandy they're meaningless - you're school reports will be all you need to give to your new school in Aus.
