Hi George

I'm in the same position but I'm 39 and a coach. If you get over to Perth before I do (about six months) let me know what you think and what team you are playing for.

I'm more than likley going to coach an adult team but I'm going to contact Perth Glory as I've coached for a couple of centres of excellence over here.

All the best

Mike Hartley

Hi George,

Do you mean the hyundai A league (the pro teams) or junior soccer? Personally I don't think the A league is a great standard and Perth in particular aren't very good this year (they weren't very good last year either), I think the league is comparable to division 1 (based on the games I've seen). My son is 8 and plays soccer, although he is starting to enjoy aussie rules and will probably take that up next year too - Perth has 2 teams The West Coast Eagles (who my son support) and Fremantle Dockers (who his dad and his sister support), you'll probably get to like it too.
