Perth and Brisbane

Just quick question on behalf of my 14 year old daughter. She is wondering if teenagers her age hang around the streets in Perth and Brisbane like they do here or is there lots more for them to do. We live in a small town at the moment with not much to do apart from sport. If anyone can give us an idea of what there is to do that would be great.
Thanks.
Caroline

We live in WA (Leeming) and I have to say that I haven't seen any groups of teenages hanging around being intimidating. (I used to hate having to go to the spar shop at night or weekend). In fact the two teenagers on my street will happily play 'footy' with the young boys of my sons age 7 - 10. They're certainly looked up to by my sons group of friends, and when they pass us in the street, they say 'hello Tom' and smile at me - they're definatley good role models. I'm sure there will be less desirable teenagers around, but I haven't seen them yet.
