Hi

We used Anglo Pacific - they were pretty good. Both household effects and car (stag triumph) - shipping of all our household goods (a lot) and car totalled almost 4,000 pounds

Unless your car is a 'classic' & you're very attached to it I wouldn't bother bringing it with you, the cost is likely to as much or more than it's worth.

Hows things going? We used Eagle relocations and having moved internationally many times, they were the best I have had dealings with. Car....mm, if its not a classic I would not bother. If you are shipping garden items etc customs will more than likely pull your container aside so that certain "dirty" items can be cleaned - they do charge for this. We had a edge trimmer and bike they pulled out, this cost us around $200 and a delay in delivery. In all honesty, I think customs do this generally just to make a few extra dollars. When you arrive in Oz and you phone to enquire about your container, you will more than likely encounter an office member who will explain that there is a delay, dont argue just accept with grace - its quicker and easier!
