Cool Is Perth still the burglary capital of Australia?

Hi,

I came across this while searching for radio stations in Perth Australia, I thought that if I listen to local news radio stations it would give me an idea of what that area would be like. Please can I have your feed back and your experiences. It does give a list of what areas are quite bad. My wife and I are still thinking of moving to Perth, at present we live in Wolverhampton and there is an area less than 1 mile from us called Bentley that is quite bad for burglaries, our street has not been touched yet (finger's crossed).

I'll try to attach the link so you can all have a listen

Hi Glynn

Well Glasgow is the murder capital of the Uk so for me Perth is a improvement

Don't let that put you off coming over. I am not saying you dont read of buglaries in the local papers. But they are everywhere & so are drugs in the world. Still love Perth tho

Does this mean that Perth has a bigger drug problem than other parts of Australia?

There is a big amphetamine problem in Perth Has been for some time Mostly at weekends Buy a house with good security in as good an area as you can afford It is getting worse all over Oz tho I don't know how it compares with UK I live in the worst home invasion rate suburb So far so good But everyone has security windows and doors It is only kids usually but still not nice I would not buy a house here and am only here cos the house rental was going via a friend

Hi Anly, what areas are you talting about when you say you wouldn't buy there?.
Are there any you would suggest as being OK to buy in and are pretty safe?
