Question Where is best???

Hello,
I hope someone may be able to help with where is the nicest places to live? We have been accepted for regional sponsorship in Peel and Great Southern areas, we have been looking into the area's and peel seems closer to CBD which we like the sound of, but does anyone know of any nice/good areas within Peel. I am 26 so still like a glass of wine most evenings and weekends. Dont want to be in an area that is too quiet.

bumping you back up - what towns are included in Great Southern areas, sorry if I sound daft but only been here 6 months and still finding my way around this huge place!?!

Think you'll find it quiet wherever you go as different culture to the UK, pubs here aren't the same as back in the UK and you'll find you'll socialise alot more at home than out in town. Found it strange at first but you soon get used to it and you'll enjoy the wine as its grown locally and good quality. We were surprised to find that our Aussie mates consider some of the better known brands sold in the UK as cr*p wine!!!!! But you sure can taste the difference after a while I assure you.

Why on earth is the rent here so cheap, you can get a really nice house for $300 a week
We are only just deciding on were we want to move to but for the same sort of property in Cairns for example it would set you back $600 a week...

Is it not that common to have a pool as i would really like one but cant really see any rental properties that have them....
