Planky,5 more geordies want make a difference, after all my wife is one (does that sound right?) hehe I think you guys will be all made extremely welcome. But the pressures on WA right now are something else...cant grow fast enough, cant keep pace with the exspansion.... a bit like when the UK opened its doors to Eastern Europe (Poland) if that puts it in perspective....You pay tax to support the migrant population that doesnt work (at a higher rate than in the UK) even with Gordon getting rid of the 10p tax! aah well at least the sun shines.

The majority of grass root Ozzies (in WA) resent the Uk influx (my experience) and when you look at the (Brit Suburbs) areas you understand why... crime from youth, graffitti, etc has sky rocketed..but as is well posted elsewhere..Likes attract likes and its the norm...
The kick back? well, unless you are indigenous (aboriginal) your an import anyway!
Didn't realise there were that many. I have to say the cost of the migration process must put some people off so it could easily be more. (when you add it all up I couldn't believe how much we'd spent to get here.... but worth every penny). I did think of writing to Tony Blair and saying thanks for giving me the kick up the backside I needed to take the adventure ... sounds like Gordons doing an even better job

what are your sources? I disagree that they are all brits, I think that was the total figure some time ago but it has slowed. As for the hoons, not sure I believe that figure either.
I hope it's just the nice ones that are leaving the UK
