Secret Harbour
Hi there
Just wondered if anyone living in secret harbour or surrounds can give advice on what activities/what its like for teenagers, things to do. Like the look of the suburb for young family but concerned for when kids get older. cheers.

Hi,
We are also looking at moving to Secret Harbour or Port Kennedy, we also have 3 children age 15, 12 and 5, so would be interesting to find a bit more about the area.

We went out in August for a rekkie and we looked at Secret Harbour, we have two boys 8 and 12......the beach was clean (and very quiet...was winter though) and more surf than swim we thought...it has its own surf club etc.
We found the property a little expensive compared to other areas nearby, there is plenty of building going on and it had a good community feel to it....still an option to us.
We somehow managed to miss Port Kennedy, the property prices seem more reasonable there............the sea at Rockingham was much calmer and more suitable for the smaller children as it was very shallow for quite a way out.
We will definitely check out Port Kennedy when we get there for good.

Hi Lisa,
I live in Port Kennedy and work in Secret Harbour, As people have said I agree that house prices seem more expensive there , as for things to do, it is very quiet there as it is an up and comig suburb, but Port Kennedy doesnt have a fantastic nightlife either, you will need to go into Rockingham to do the major things eg cinema, etc. We have the aquajetty in Warnbro which is just next to PK and most estates have parks and playgrounds. Its a lovely place to bring young children up !!

Doesn't Warnbro have an excellent nudist beach, with the excellent schools as mentioned. And reasonably priced property too?
