Talking When is the hotest time to visit Perth WA

Hi,

my family and I are thinking of coming out to perth next year, to check if this is the right area to move to. I would like to feel how hot it can get. Basically perth at its worst, I want to see if we can cope with the heat.

Which months are the hotest?

Thanks in advance

Glynn and family

We were out there in January for 3 weeks and in Perth itself it ranged between 38 and 41 degrees Celcius and up north when we went to my brother in Dampier it was 46 degrees! Jan to Feb are probably the hottest months - although last year when I was over in March visiting my mother it did have 3 days of 40 degrees which is very unusual for that time of year. It is a dry heat compared to the humidity of Queensland and some of the other states.

Any time December - end of Feb - Boxing day say Perth being the hottest place in the world. During Feb when my in laws visited temps were in the high 30's and a couple of 40 degree days.

Hi the hottest months are from christmas to February. We found the heat difficult without aircon or a pool to cool off but 2 and a half years on things have improved -beats the UK weather any day!

Yep the heat is not oppresive (sp) but did get to 41 deg on Boxing day...Rest of the time pleasant in the 30's and you soon get used to it, especially as you have the Freemantle Doctor to look after you each afternoon about 2.00pm (sea breeze) very pleasant..
