Exclamation Information on Perth and Vehicle trade

Hi all

I have been reading as much as I can on this site but I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about mechanics jobs in the Perth area. My family and I are looking closely into moving late in the year and need some idea on the work hours and rates of by resident tradespeople so we can compare with whats on offer on the sponsored 457 which we are being offered.

We would also like to know about catering jobs for a qualified chef and catering manager. Is there good opportunities in this line of work.

Finally where is the best value area to live as I have been looking at the house prices online and it is not for the faint hearted. Can anyone recommend a good estate agents web site.

Thanks

Dave

Hi

We run a motor workshop most mechanics are working for between $20 -$30 per hour although there is a shortage at the moment so some places are paying more than that.

The Motor Trades Association of WA would be able to give you more information they are actually recruiting on behalf of employers at the moment if you are wanting sponsorship

For areas to live check out the real estate pages

Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au
Real Estate Institute of WA - Perth Property, Land & Homes For Sale or Rent in Western Australia
Real Estate for Sale, Rent and Share @ Domain.com.au

We run a web site which covers an area south of perth renting short term accommodation & car hire it has lots of information on that particular area

Emi-Great - Home - Short Term Rental Accommodation in Rockingham, Mandurah, Port Kennedy, Warmbro and Perth

If you have any questions just pm me or email me from our site we are happy to help with advice if we can

Thanks for the response, it's good to know the people who will be sponsoring us have been giving correct information. Could you recommend an area that is good value for money renting wise for when we first get out there.

Thanks

Dave
