swan valley

hi,
does anyone know of areas around swn valley or anyone live near there.

we really like the look of it, cos it looks abit more rural, but we are concerned there might not be many brits up there, little girl will be about 10 when we go out and want her to have some british friends as well as ozzy friends to make it a bit easier for her to settle in.
one area we looked at was Kalamunda, any ideas?

any help would be really appreciated.

we are looking at going out for 8 weeks next year if we get visa.

Sorry, I only go up there to go the the winery and lunch when we have rellies over. Have you looked on Aussie move - they have suburb info. I think you're right about getting the mix of friends. We live in a 90% aussie street (we're the only Brits), but I've made friends with Brits and we get together now and again.
