Very true Grayo

Some of the guys in Billy's place were laid off for a few days this week & some permanent over the last few weeks. I suppose being on a 457 visa means Billy can't get laid off.....

Aww, Janette!

I don't think anyone would lay Billy off anyway. Heck, why would the gaffer have invested so much of his own effort in getting Billy out to Oz in the first place and now nominating him for PR unless the gaffer wants to keep Billy on his own team instead of working for a rival concern?

You will both ride this current storm OK, chooks. You will see. Aunt Gill has read the tealeaves etc and all will be well for you. I just KNOW it.

Big hugz

Gill

Don't be like all the others looking in Perth, go south or north. We have been given a RSMS visa for my wife (she's a midwife) down in bunbury, 100 mile south of Perth on the coast. Brother in law is a civil engineer, based in Subiaco, but regularly travels down to Busselton, Mandurah, releasing land for new developments. Start to look there. Perth is 30% dearer than these areas for housing, although you can still pick up house bargains in the outer suburbs if you search.
And yes I'm considering signing on at the mines.
I am a printer by trade, have spent the last 8 years in IT, but I will head for the mines when our visa clears. You can earn good money, very good money.
