Ikea

Who is going to be first to visit the new IKEA in Perth, Ali or the Bravehearts or even a longshot outsider. Let us know what its like as it may mean we can leave some of the stuff we were going to bring.

Haven't been yet - imagine it'll be packed these first few days (plus got rellies here). The old store, whilst small had some great stuff so I'm hoping the big store is just the same and will have lots more choice. It's the only store that Tom happily agrees to go to as he gets a hot dog at the end of shopping!!

Lol Jo

Well as Ali says it will be busy for the first few days. However I plan a wee trip there this week as we are moving into our new house next month and do need a few things. So I will let you how it goes.

cofl is on a distinguished road
Went today, it was crazy, very busy.
It is split over 2 floors, reminded us of the Ikea store we visited in Switzerland.
Much bigger range of products, well worth the trip.
PS the restaurant is fantastic, ten times the size of the old one.

I'm gonna wait til the rellies go, cos they've not hired a car and with parking at a premium I'm not taking two vehicles.

Hi Ali

So do they charge for parking then ??? Could cost me a fortune I seem to be in Ikea for hours

Alex I will do but anything is got to be better than the Ikea we had it was so small.

Nigel went today and said it was very impressive and he thinks it's bigger than the one in Warrington (our nearest one in the UK)
