Can anyone help with renting in Perth

Hopefully someone can help me.

I will be arriving in perth on the 29th January. I will be working in the CBD, and looking to rent a two bedroom place (with air con) that is not too far from the city, prefably south of the river. I am looking to pay a maximum of $330 per week.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of finding a place? Which areas should i be looking at?

The wife and kids will be in the uk until april when the house is sold, so its going to be hard settling in.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me in my new life in Perth.

thanks

matt

Hi Matt

have you looked on Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au they'll have properties to rent.

yes looked at the website and homehound and reiwa and others. I think the best thing is to do is look at various properties when in peth. Can see lots of properties on the websites, but you can't make a real judgement until you have seen them in person.

I think seeing things in person is the best bet as you'll also get a feel for the area too. Some properties look lovely, but you drive around the area and just don't get a feel for it. I'm Sor in Leeming which is now only 10 mins by train, you've got Bullcreek, willeton, Murdoch and Kardinya as surrounding suburbs but I don't know what rental prices are (sorry)

Cool New train system!

Perth has extended the train south since 01/01/08 making houses good south (better areas) for 330 a week, you should stop your worrying mate, start thinking, do i want a swimming pool? or do i want 5 bedrooms? ....... hang on 330 will get you both lol

for 300 your on 4 bedrooms, pool, new build (first tenants), 2 bathrooms and a double garage in nice area!!!
