Newbie looking for accommodation/house share in WA

Hi everyone

I'm new to this site so bear with me if I start asking dumb questions!
I'm taking the BRAVE step of moving to Perth to take a teacher training course at ECU in Feb 08. (I say brave - many of my friends and family think dumb!)
I'm coming on my own with a view to getting my qualification in Oz then either returning to the UK after one year, or staying on in Oz if I like it.
I've travelled a bit in Oz - the 1st visit last year to the East coast - Sydney - Uluru - Darwin, and this year to WA - Esperence, Perth, Broome.
I loved Perth so it seemed like a good idea!
Anyway - The point of this posting is to try to find a possible housemate or room available in a friendly house in the Perth area for a female in her 30's- pref near ECU Mount Lawley campus.
Anyone have any ideas?
