20 something in Perth

G'day. Haven't seen many posts from people in their twenties!

I'm 27 from Southampton and have been in Perth for about 6 months. Loving every minute!

If there's anyone of a similar age about who would like to chat, would be nice to hear..

Oh i am jelous of you lot!
I'm over for xmas in perth but wish it was for good! we are going over as skilled visa eventually but need to wait for the new vetassess rules before i know time scale and when to apply etc hopefully fingers and toes crossed we can start visa process in january when we get back, then will be out again later in the year.
Please keep in touch, we are 26 and 27 and apart from my sister we wont know anyone so it would be great to meet up and all go out for a few drinks!!
I want to leave now, i'm walking round the flat deciding what can go and what we can sell, wondering how much i will get for my car etc.... its taking over my life !

Hiya Ben,

I'm 29 and moving to Perth in a little over 4 weeks. I will be staying with my brother initially and coming on a WHM visa with the option of 3 months seasonal work for an extra years visa.

Although I would like to make this a permanent move eventually through company sponsorship hopefully.

It would be nice to meet for a drink with you guys to get to know some new peops.

Hi all,

We are a couple (I'm 24, Andy's 27) and we too are waiitng to hear back from vetassess before we know what we're doing and have to wait til January to apply anyway so that we can go for a de-facto!!
We're over in Perth for Christmas too, although my parents and aunt and uncle live there so we do know some people....

Just want to be there asap..the waiting is killing me.... xx

Hi Guys, this thread went kind of dead even though there were a few people interested in a meet up. Is anyone still interested? I have just moved out here and don't a know a soul apart from my sister and brother-in-law. Will try and make it to the Kings Park meet but i liked the idea that there's other childless people out there who i may have more in common with. I guess it's the young and fancy free angle! Well not sure i qualify anymore at 30 but you get the idea So if you're up for it, please post and we could get something sorted. A night out would be just what i need.
