Hi,

I don't know what work is like for joiners have a look on seek.com.au and it will give you an idea of vacancies. We live South of River, you'll find alot of Brits live up north, I've never been so can't comment on Quinns rock, my advise if you've not been is to get a base for a couple of weeks and drive around, we stumbled on the suburb we live by chance and it was one we hadn't thought of whilst in the UK - little things will make you fall in love with a place or put you off. An example for us where alot of pylons around the houses in Bibra Lake.

Good luck

Ali

Hi Jez,

we recently stayed in Kinross about 15 minutes from Quinns rock. Very nice, still developing so it has great potential and there is a lovely cafe by the beach great food and a freindly place, and is open in the evenings as well. As for work I'm a sparky and there are sites every where so you should have no problem there you may need to check if you need a license (sparkies one is a night mare) you will need a "blue card" to work on site which you can get over the internet (I can give you more info if you need it). Once my stuff arrives I can scan in a page of the West on a Saturday to give you an idea of jobs if that helps.
