Where to stay in Perth for Holiday

Hi could anyone recommend somewhere to stay in the Perth beaches area please??. We are 2 adults and 2 toddlers. This is our Visa-Validating visit and we wanted to have a look at Perth before making our minds up where to move to having been to the East Coast previously.

The travel websites (hotelclub, travelocity, octopus etc etc) are not giving me much outside of Perth centre which is no good for us with the kids.

I've tried Stayz.com.au but everything I've wanted has been unavailable. We would have a car so doesn't have to be that near the city, but we would like to be near a beach. If anyone can recommend a hotel/resort/house/website then please let me know.

Not much to ask is it!! Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Lee

Hiya

Have a look at Cottesloe Beach Chalets ocean side accommodation, Perth Western Australia

Cottesloe Beach is a beautiful beach, not too much surf unlike Scarborough Beach. Easy access to Perth.

Or try googling Hillary's Boat Harbour which is north of Perth at Sorrento. This is a man-made gently sloping beach with very calm water. In the photo gallery I have posted photos of Hillary's and Cottesloe beaches.

Hope it helps.

Hi

I stayed in a really nice 3 bedroomed self-catering bungalow in Fremantle, about 5 to 10 mins walk from the beach, and about 5 mins walk to the free bus service all around Freo. Send me a private message if you want to know more.

How far do you want to be from Perth? Bussleton is a really nice place but about 229 km and a 3 hour drive
