Hi Ems,

I have been to Cannock Chase only a few times, a bit far away from me. Just over 15 weeks till we come over. We are staying in Joondalup for 3 weeks in a holiday rental and are going to have a really good look around at areas. What made you choose where you live? I'm finding it hard to decide on favourites when looking at schools, houses etc.

Sarah.

Good Luck

Hi All,

Moving to Perth - fingers crossed. Waiting for visa answer. Looking at south, near Rockingham. Originally from Kirkintilloch ( those of you from Motherwell will know where that is hopefully!!!). Let me know how you get on when you get there and good luck!!

Lynn

Hi all

Hi everyone (not too sure how to reply individually on this yet)

Thanks for replying, i wasn't sure if I would hear from anyone! We've not too long to go. Barry and I are going to rent for the first 6 months once we arrive in Perth and if all goes well hope to then buy a house. I hear house prices have rocketed in the past year. What would you say an average 3/4 bedroom house(with pool if possible) in a decent area would cost?

North perth looks nice but I'm not too sure if it's now too expensive. We hope to rent a furnished flat/unfurnished house for a bit. What areas are decent?Look forward to hearing from you all and meeting up some point soon!

Lorna & Barry (ps .its raining here, what a surprise!)

Lorna,

Have you tried www.realestate.com.au it has rental property and property for sale. Hard to say about suburbs because what one person likes another will hate. Also try www.aussiemove.com which has some good info on suburbs.
