Although i am not 23 (wish i was again) but from all the info i have gathered over 12 mths i have found that Freemantle is one of the places, but i am sure you will get more ideas.

The City is pretty good for socialising and Freo - We live 15 mins drive away from the city cost hubby about $25 - $30 for a taxi

Hi

I am 25 and have been in Perth for 3 months now. At first it was a bit of a culture shock I had been living in london with all the benefits that it has to offer in terms of going out etc.

Agreed with Fremantle it sort of appeals to every one it has a spectrum of nice bars where you can go for a quiet drink to bars where there is live music every night.

We live Mt Hawthorn so pretty close to the city and there are pubs scattered all over the place. Be prepared for loads of taxi rides though as places tend to be to far apart from each other to walk. (Northbridge aside but you will find out about that place for yourself I am sure)

Good Luck

Its tough work to start with but I wouldnt swap my life now for anything.

Martin
