My fiancee and i have just done our medicals and we hope to have our visas soon. We are thinking of moving to Joondalup but we would love to hear some feedback regarding what the city is like, schools, work (Jay is a Carpenter and i am an Office administrator) etc. We are both really looking forward to the move and we would love to hear from people who are in Perth, or Joondalup and enjoying the good life.
Look forward to hearing from somebody soon!
PS- does anybody know of the best way to sort out rental accomodation before leaving the UK (I am having trouble with finding the agencies, and areas to rent in Joondalup)
My advice would be to pick up a holiday let for a few weeks and look for a rental when you get here. There are a lot of duff ones out there believe me.
Joondalup is nice but there are other nice suburbs close by too which are worth having a look at including Woodvale and Edgewater which are more established and 'green'
We did a recce to Perth 2005 and we went to joodalup I would not call it a city more of a suburb. Perth runs for miles and miles like all cities do and they swallow up the smaller towns etc.
