Irish People Perth Bound!!!!
Hi All,
Jus trying to establish are there many Irish people here heading for Perth.
Thought is would be a good idea to get a thread going for us all.
We are a family of 3 hoping to hit Perth late 2011 or Jan 2012. (Age 30/Age 29/Daughter Age 4)
Was wondering if there are many others from Ireland in the same boat and was wondering if there is enough of us to arrange a big group meet up somewhere over the next while.
Anyway include your details and chat soon.
Cheers

Hi there, I'm also from Dublin myself and my girlfriend are headin to Perth in May/June of this year on a working holiday visa with the hopes of staying for a secend year or possiblt getting sponsored, we know a few people over there already. I'll be 23 and she's 23 when we head over, Im an electrician and she is a childcare / montessori school manager so hopefully we can find some work. Are you heading over on a permanent Visa?

Hi. Yes we are a family of four. Me 31, Wife 28, Son aged 7, Son Aged 7 Months. Waiting on the 176, have a case officer just awaiting medicals to be done. Heading to Perth and hoping to settle in Butler. We are hoping to be there at the end of this year and are seriously thinking of going to do a reccie maybe in June. Surely has to be better than what Ireland is at the minute

If it were me I'd go for Lindas job, nurses seem to get out there faster but it depends on what you specialise in too. I'm sure someone here will have more advice

Perth bound also (hopefully!!!!)
Hey guys, yes we are Irish too and are in the very first stages. I am 35, herself 34, two children ages 9 and 6. I am a Metal Fabricator, been at the job for last 18 years although no FAS papers so i am being assessed by TRA and have literally just sent off my Trade Set and Skills Assessment to University of Victoria, so I should be called for an interveiw via Skype soon. I am quite nervous, so anyone with any info at all re this interview I would greatly appreciate!
