typical cost of paperwork?

Hi, ok so 175 visa is the way we are sure to go now, but can anyone tell us typical costs for moving including visa etc - have you done it?
the cost is such a massive factor, We are going to rent our property in the uk and rent a house in Oz.
Not sure weather to ship furniture either.

We are pretty much at the end of the visa process and i reckon with the meds and all the bits and bobs it has cost around £6,000. We are two adults and three children. Also 175.

Can I ask the question did you do it all yourself or was this through a Migration agent?

yes , that was what i was wondering as we are thinking of doing it ourself with no agent.

we done it ourselves, i think a lot of people use the agents but we seemed to manage ok on our own.

I completed the paperwork myself, total cost so far including visa application, police check, medicals and posting is I say approx £1430

We got temporary 475 residence whilst in Oz - using an agent. Together with the government fees it was probably around 6k AUD (and a couple of complimentary banjo's to Immi)

We have spent 3600 so far, £1800 went in agent in hind sight this was a waste, but when we first started looking it seem so difficult. thats includes 4 attemt at ILETS. skills assesment and lodgement of app. Still have meds and police check
