Hi All, i am totally new to this. I am moving with husband (we got married last week) to Australia in January. We have been planning this for years but just before we head off the whole "credit crunch" hits and i am getting a little worried. My partner is an engineer so we hoped he would find work easily and i was planning to have a career change and go back to college to train as a massage therapist.
We are still both excited though and won't let people who keep telling us it is a bad time to change your life out us off!

Stoke is not all bad:
-I live here -My family and friends live here -Can't actually think of much else to like.... I actually live on the border of Newcastle under Lyme which is an altogether different place, lots of good things about 'Castle as I'm sure Tania will agree....honestly can't think of much I like about Stoke at all, sorry

The OH is a Stokie too, though we're living in Market Drayton in Shropshire at the mo. He still works in Stoke, and most of his family and friends are there, but he can't wait to get away.
We fly out to Perth on Friday to validate our visas, and will be moving sometime after Christmas too.
I think we're all a bit worried about the credit crunch, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet I guess.
