Hello everyone...one for the brickies

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum, after lurking around the sidelines for a while. We've just appointed an agent, overseas emigration, and are looking to get out on a skilled migrant visa (o/h is a brickie) Ive got loads of questions (sorry!) We are looking to move to the south coast NSW cos weve heard that there is quite a lot of construction in that area, and not too hot?
Anyway hubbie is a bit worried, he's not to good with creepie crawlies, and one of the pet hates of his job is spiders lurking in the frog of a brick. He is now starting to wonder if there is the same problem over there, particulary in NSW with funnel webs, or any other nasty creepy crawlies for that matter.
Can anyone set his mind at rest (or not)

Sorry its a strange question, but i think perhaps its the first of many, lol

hi, bet you can't guess what i do for a living ?
i know what you mean about the creepy crawlies but i'm afraid it's just part of the job out here.
of course you have to be careful out here it's australia for god sake. You must check every brick, block, & long reach that you pick up so don't think you will be getting as many down as in the uk, half your time is spent looking & dropping quick . you don't need to worry about the crocks much though because the sharks have eaten them (lol)
