Hello I'm new here!
Just wanted to say hi really. We're moving to Perth hopefully by the end of next year. Our application has been submitted, house is on the market. Worried about a lot of things because we have £20k of debt to pay off in the next year, plus we might not be able to sell the house. We've recently had a baby and I'm still on maternity leave so we're really doing our best to save up but it's so hard! Live in Manchester at the moment and decided to move because I hate this country and my sister lives in Perth and it's so lovely. People keep getting shot and stabbed round here, there is barbed wire on the primary school and it's miserable. Can't wait to escape!

Welcome to PIO
I think alot of people are in a similar situation to yourself, i know we are. We have very little equity in our house and debt, if we can't sell it i don't know what we shall do.
We have 4 children aswell, so i've recently cut my hours right down, as it is costing a fortune in childcare, my baby is 2 now and it costs £34 a day to send chad into nursery. I know we have to give Oz a chance, i think it can't be no more of a struggle than what it is in the UK.
I must admit though our schools are nice in this area and the kids are safe to play outside.

We are heading to Perth early next year too as long as we sell our house!!.

Chin up if you want this bad enough you will find a way.

We live in wiltshire its lovely here and our boys are happy. My hubby has to work away in wales all week so only home weekends.
This idea was started over a bottle or two of wine. We all want to be together, have some sun and a out door life style. So austraila here we come.

Good luck with house sales and visas.
