I'm new!!!! Hello!!!

Hi been in Oz for 6 months now but only just discovered PIO. I think its great and I hope I get to meet loads of new people through it. I moved to the Gold Coast in January on my own so I'm finding it a bit hard to meet people outside work. So if anyone's bored or looking for a girly chat, drink, SCUBA buddy, whatever, get in touch PLEEEEEEASE!!!!

Hi Loz just wanted to welcome you to PIO, If i was on the Gold coast i would love to go scuba diving etc but i'm still here in the UK, but it sounded good reading your thread. What do you do out in Oz???

Hi Loz, welcome to PIO. I'm on the Gold Coast (Coombabah), but far too lazy to go scuba diving!; need to get a girls night out sorted, so will let you know if I have any luck, and we can have a drink. Drop me a line if you want a chat, or anything not too strenuous.

That would be great. Let me know when somethings sorted. I look forward to meeting. PS I chose SCUBA because its NOT strenuous, trust me I should know, a good days shopping is about as strenuous as I ever get, and even then I need about a week to recover! hehe.

I'll be out to the gold coast in October for a reccie, and I make my big move in February (although I don't know exactly where yet). I love to dive so I'll definately take you up on the SCUBA buddy offer. I'll PM you at a later date, before leaving the UK.

Hi Loz my family and i are heading for Victoria, but i would love to try scuba diving, perhaps my sons would take to it. Glad you are enjoying it out in Oz. Keep up the good work
