Student - Brisbane or Mooloolaba?

Hello - I'm was hoping I could get help or personal preference from folk

I've found the same Fitness course (tafe) which is being offered in both Brissy & Moooloolaba. I just can't decide between the two. I have been to Brisbane before and loved it, but I'm also hearing that Mooloolaba is lovely too

Being a student I have to think about the cost of things ie; accommodation, food & also part-time work etc.... Is there much difference between the two?

In people's opinions, what would be the best place for a student?

Thanks
Lynchy

Brisbane has by far the better nightlife, and Mooloolaba gives you access to loads and loads of fab beaches, and has a more laid back vibe.

I suppose the Sunshine Coast will be a little cheaper and because it is smaller / quieter there may be less hassles for you getting around. I know there are a few decent pubs, clubs and bars up here too so it is hardly a wilderness.

Guess it comes down to your personal preferences? If I was a student I'd be in Brisbane!

Hi, Being a student I would be close to where the travel is not going to be too expensive, whereabouts are you going to study? Both areas I think are pretty expensive, as Kirsty says though the nightlife would be in Brisbane apart from the surf I wouldnt say Mooloolaba has alot of student nightlife, but depends what your after.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply's

I think I would prefer to be where somewhere which has more to offer - pubs/nightlife, shopping, entertainment etc

I don't have to worry much about the travel or transport for either place. In Brisbane the course in on the Southbank & I have found plenty of accommodation near there. As for Mooloolaba, the course is at the Mooloolaba Capmus
