I've been reading bits and pieces of the forum for a while, and finally got backside into gear to register, so hello to everyone from me!
Brief summary of relevant details:
Married to an Aussie, and we have 2 carpet crawlers.
Mrs. JJ wants to go home, I love Sydney anyway (multiple visits from me) so it's a no-brainer to move there, which we are doing in November 2008.
Got my 5 year spouse visa granted at the end of 2007, got it "kicked in" in Feb2008, and now stressing about pension arrangements and the 6 months rule (like you do!)

It's to do with transferring pension funds from the UK to Australia. There is a six months deadline to do it without certain tax implications, but I'm stressing about when the six months starts. I think I've answered my own question, but I'm not sure.

im sure the 6 mths starts from when you enter the country and your passport is stamped.
I hope not, as it was stamped in February. I'm hoping it starts from when I arrive in Sydney permanently (which is what I think is the case, but still trying to find out for sure.)
