Well my brother is currently seeking citizenship and he plans to live in Melbourne which is the city he fell in love with after travelling the East coast for a year.
I have some good friends who are moving out to Perth sometime soon though and my main question is, where should I go?
I haven't been to Australia before and I have heard a lot about both locations. I am planning to find work asap when I arrive and I work in IT/Computer support.
I have heard Perth is booming at the moment and still growing rapidly, I also hear the fishing is great there (I am a fisherman) but, my brother is trying to persuade me that Melbourne is the place to be.
As far as work is concerned, I am starting to think that maybe Perth would be better for me ??
Everyone is suited to a different lifestyle but the only thing I have become aware of after reading many people's opinions is that Perth and surrounds are more geared up to a lifestyle for families. I don't doubt this will be disputed by many singletons but it's only my own assumption. Melbourne seems to have more for a wider group of people.
