Another newcomer...

Hi there,

My name's Dee, and I am moving to Melbourne next month with my oh. We're moving in with my Aussie friend, but am unsure of the area...It's Balaclava (next to Kilda I think)...anyone on here living around there?

Also any advice on getting work - apart from the obvious job agencies of course..

Hiya welcome to poms in oz ,we have qite a few guys on here who are in or heading to Melbourne ,we also have a section at the botom of the forum just for Melbourne and its surronds ,so it may be worth you haveing a read through that ,good luck with everything
