employment opportunity for electricians are they needed or his the market all hype .
new to this but all police checks ,medicals are in just awaiting answer.can any one help places to settle ,job market ,schools etc
I don't know where you're thinking of in Oz but provided you have a bit of get up and go you will find plenty of well paid work as a sparky. If you sit about waiting for it it won't happen. My brother, also a sparky, is on the Gold Coast and has already been offered 4 better pain jobs each time within 18 months. We have a friend Melbourne way who, also as a sparky is never short of work.

Hi welcome to poms in Oz ,there does seem to be a lot of work south side of the city and Gold Coast areas,probably because its developing so much.The only downside ive found for sparkys is the licences etc you are required to get once youve arrived,some guys take labouring jobs whilst organising all this ,the lucky ones get on with a electrical company who help them orgainse everything.
As for areas theres too many nice places to choose from!lol, its good if you can stay somewere for a few weeks whilst you check out areas and apply for rental properties etc,most familys seem todo this
