hi all, thought i would introduce myself as im a newbie!
im lorraine age 32, my husband tris is a telecommunications engineer also 32. we have 3 sons keenan 10, cai 7 and lewys 4.

ten year s of thinking has gone into our decision to move to oz. now we have decided its what we want we hav nt a clue where to start!! any advice would be much appreciated.

we live in weston-super-mare, north somerset. we are just starting to look for an agent and into the skills assesment. after some research im liking the look of perth, but think we would relocate to any part that tris could get work. we know of a family in caloundra and another who are looking at moving to melbourne.

has anyone tried going to the seminars held by agents, we are ment to be going to one in bristol on sun, held by 'thinkingaustralia', not sure whether to go as im hearing good things about 'go matilda'.

Good luck with your application.

When we first started doing the process (we are still really at the beginning!) we contacted loads of different agents. As we haven't been a straight forward case some didn't want to know, others bent over backwards to try and assist. It's all about how you feel and trust someone in my opinion. But definitely speak to everyone you can and do loads of online enquiries and then make a decision as to whether you use and agent and then which one!
