Well I'm new to this site so just finding my way round atm. Just wanting to get chatting with people who might know a lot more about moving to Oz than I do haha. Just a little about myself; I'm wanting to move to Brisbane, Aus next May/June with my boyfriend who has just finished University and is now a BSc of computing. I'm inbetween jobs but learning tattooing and I'm a keen artist! My mum and dad are going out too they are just finalizing their applications and will be ready to jet off!
Anyway just wanted to say hello to everyone! (I could probably blab for ages so best I leave now haha)
Hi there and welcome to PIO, can't say i'm an expert, been through the different processes now for over 12 months and still learning, although visa is now submitted, so just playing the waiting game, hoping to go to somewhere in Victoria. Tattooing sounds fab, good luck with that and your visa process Tania X

Good luck with the process! Hope it all goes to plan. We've been at it for a year now, but its all coming together at last. OH joining Oz navy so process slightly different and very long, but I still find PIO helpfull and interesting. Keep at it, its worth it.
Thanks for everyones hello :D Victoria sounds lovely! I don't actually have a clue what visa to go on to be honest lol because I want to do a college course too :S its all very confuzzling this whole visa process!

Best of luck with everything. If you've really got your hearts set on moving then you should get things in motion asap as it can take quite a long time!
see i thought with working visas you can get them about 4 months just before you leave where as a full residency visa would take quite a lot lot longer lol
