I am swaying towards the gold coast, although am loving the idea of being in such a laid back area with the sunshine coast.

Is there much work out there for carpenters as Dean wouldn't wanna do anything else.

Thanks again

The work is there suncoast or goldcoast would not worry about the work to much ,spend time on looking into areas to live.

Hi there,
You will need a blue card if you want to work an any construction sites, you may have to organise and pay for it yourself unless you get an employer to do it for you,i would suggest doing it as soon as get over here.

regarding the SC or GC,I would vouch for the Sunny coast any day,but both have nice areas to live. Recce definately required if you can afford it.

The Baggo's is on a distinguished road
For us its GC! we are on the Southern end of the coast. As Aldo has said everything is here! The only part of GC that gets rowdy of a night is Surfers and only youngsters and tourists are there then. Good luck with you move

I love the southern Gold Coast ,Where abouts are you Mrs Baggo ?,Its a bit quieter south side but still near to everything ,we sometimes have weekends away up at springbrook ,if you want to see scenery ,go there its great! Also the drive to NSW wales via the hinterland is beautiful.
