Police Checks Question

Hi we are looking to apply to emmigrate to oz and have been wading through the blurp trying to organise exactly waht we need to do.

I have had police checks done before for jobs here and it always shows a drink driving ban that happened over five years ago. It has,nt prevented employment or insuarnce here but need to know if it will prevent our application being sucessful.
No point in spending the money if we know its an out right no!

it shouldnt affect your application unless you served a prison sentance ,there are quite a few messages all asking similar questions in the migration section and so far noone here has been refused because of their police check ,hope this helps a little
