hi soapy Redcliffe is a ok place i live 15 mins from there in Northlakes and your nearest train station will be Petrie which is about 30mins drive from Redcliffe it can take upto 25mins if he get an express train or 50mins on a stopper

HI there we are hopefully off to Brisbane area next year - not sure which area yet so just asking loads of Q's on here. Im quite new to this site but its v.helpfull. Oh and we have never been to Austalia before!

HI i immigrated to geelong last year - i have quite a few friends that live in redcliffe which is a lovely place - the only down side is the transport system as you probably know there is no train service on the penninsular and one bridge on and off the island although they are in the process of building another bridge - so at peak time it gets really busy - although not far from brisbane or the airport - i have visited some of the coastal towns which again are lovely and and maybe easier to commute from - hope this is of some help
