Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site, so still trying to find my way round !!!! I'm nearly a nurse, i qualify in 3 months...scary !!! My OH is a self employed plumber, we have 2 kids, Jakes 15 and Kyah is 10. We are hoping to head out to OZ asap, Perth is the kind of area we're thinking but nowhere set in stone , so we're still considering all suburbs etc....
Any help, advice and information will be greatly recieved !

I too am a newbie & would like to say welcome. Everyone on here has been really friendly & it is a great place to pick people's brains! We have been to Perth a few times visiting friends. We have been told that north of the Swan River (Cottlesloe (great beach) and Applecross etc) are more expensive than south of the river. Perth is a lovely, clean city. The website realestate.com.au is a handy one for houses.

I can't help you with where to live in, Aus as have never been there but hoping to move to Brisbane. As kelly and Tom say everyone is really freindly on this site and very helpful. I notice that you are from essex, there is an essex meet on the 13th July at the halfway house on the A127 it sounds as if there will be a lot of fellow PIO members there and should be a good day, it starts at 2pm and carries on till about 7pm. KP NUTS has organised the meet

welcome to pio a fab site loads of helpful people with the odd nutter thrown in

heading to perth as well, our friends are on a plane now took off at 9 flying to perth

and both got jobs in a hospital NOR(north of the river) there crying out for nurses there........

How lucky are they being on a plane as we speak, it wont be long and that'll be the rest of us ! I have a few ideas of places that i like the look of, but having never been over, its just what we see on the internet and word of mouth ! Fremantle, Joondalup and Heathridge all look lovely, and friends are heading for Albany (so should we head there if only coz we'll know people ) ???? I suppose we're lucky in the sense that we don't have a property to sell, we can just give one months notice to get out ! Its just a case of getting the ball rolling.....should we wait til i qualify or should we start now ?
God sooooooo many questions that need answering !!!!
