Still-a-dream! is on a distinguished road
Red face Still A way off possiblity..

Hiya, I am a 24year old full time mum of little one - aged 1. My partner has a possibility of a job in Brisbane starting after christmas. So I am currently researching all there is to know on moving, still a bit tricky though as nothing set in stone yet. And Im a major stresser! So looking forward to the possibility. Would be good to hear from anybody in the same boat

See ya

Hi there and welcome to PIO, its great there is a possibility of your partner having a job, my situation is different than yours as we are hoping to go to Victoria on my skill which is Hairdressing. I have 4 children ranging from 1 to 10, and we are just going to go for it, so don't stress to much and try to go with the flow, i'm a great believer in fate.

Good luck hope it all comes together for you

Hi.

What a great opportunity you have! You are in a good position ahead of many who are still looking for a job offer! So well done!!!!

Whereabouts in Brisbane or surrounds are you looking to settle?

What kind of job does you husband do?

Kate

Hes a Heavy Machinery Fitter. To be honest I have no idea which area of Brisbane we would be looking to settle in, as I dont know any info on any areas yet. Ive heard renting is the 'thing to do' out there but dont know what this would cost. Are you still in UK or have u moved there already?

We're still in the UK but hoping to be out on the Gold Coast next year. If we can get visas that is!

Renting is recommended I think so that you can spend time checking out areas before you take the plunge and buy. We intend to for at least six months.

Well good luck. Any questions you have, this is definitely the website to ask them on!
