Post Questions whilst providing Emp references

Hiya,

I am in a situation where my previous employer is ready to provide a reference letter but is not agreeing to describe about my roles and responsibilities.
So I have decided to attach in one my colleague's reference along with the employers - My question here is do I need to attach the experience letter of my colleague that is providing the reference as well?

Did any of guys/gals happen to be in such a situation? What did you do?
Any suggestions are welcome?

Thank you,
Jhonnywalker...

Hello.

I can't really answer your questions, but I just wondered why your employer won't put all your roles, etc in the reference? Will he not just sign something that you could write up with all of your duties on? That way it saves him the hassle.

Just ideas that I am sure you have thought of!

Purplethunder will become famous soon enough
That's what I did to get a reference from my previous employer, I just put the main duties of the role and got them to put it on headed paper, they were fine with this.

Unfortunately, my X employer does not seem to agree to the idea of providing a detailed description of my roles and responsibilities, reason being "policy violation".

Hence I am attaching my x-colleague's reference letter along with the employer reference. Planning to put a stat declaration as well..

Hopefully that should work!.. But meanwhile, please let me know the work around / suggestions!
