Sold at last! We're on our way.
10 months on the market and a hefty drop in price but at least we can start packing!!
We have got to act quickly now and get everything organised - our deadline was always to go by Sept '08 as our son has just finished his A Levels and wants to sort uni out over there - looks like we should make it if everything goes smoothly.
Giving 8 weeks notice tomorrow - yippee!! They have known it was going to happen but I think even they were beginning to wonder if it ever would!
Happy to give advice on the process thus far - happy to receive advice on the whole moving scenario as we're starting to panic - happily panic!!
Just writing a 'to do' list we have been pondering over so much for so long you think I would be more organised but now its here I'm don't think I am.
Just going to look at comments on best removals / exchange etc. /pensions ....

Great news! We have just put our house on the market this weekend (we live in Kent) so just have to wait and see what happens. We are not in a mad dash to go but if it sold it would speed us up!

Congratulations on getting your house sold especially after 10 mths gives us all waiting a bit of a boost to hang in there it will happen one of these days, I think we would all welcome any advice on how you did it. Good luck with all the packing keep us informed of your progress
