moving to perth

Hi all. We're from a small town in Cornwall SW UK. We have submitted visa app just a month ago and are hoping to move to Perth ideally Mindarie my partner is a builder and I just wondered what the chances are of good work for him and as we'd be leaving family and friends behind how easy is it to make a new network of mates. Can anyone tell me what the schools are like as we have three children ranging from 3 to 16. Can anyone tell us roughly how long it was after visa was submitted that a final answer was given. Is the cost of living any less and is the liklehood of coming in to contact with unfriendly wildlife very likely. Thankyou for any help. xx

welcome to pio

we to are going to perth port kennerdy SR area but not set in stone as hubby a

bricklayer so going where the work is so may go NR (north). it took us about a yr to

get the visa but all changed in sept so maybe a bit longer depending on which one you

did, have heard lots of different stories so will just wait and see for ourselfs as never

been before. just waiting on sale of house.

have you been out there for a rekki?
